Terms Of Use

These terms apply to all works available at moonpearl-gm.blogspot.com, and prevail on any other versions as of this page's publication page.

This script was written by Moonpearl (French - Perlune). You can use it and distribute it freely in non-commercial RPG Maker XP projects.

IMPORTANT - I never restrict my scripts' rights of use, as long as no commercial profit is made from them. I have no obligation to share them or make updates on them to fit your requests, so please take in account the time and energy I spent in creating this script by complying to the few following rules.

  • You are allowed to use and distribute this script as long as the author's nickname (Moonpearl or Perlune) appears in the game's credits, and that the script is copied in its entirity, including the terms of use and the instructions.
  • You are allowed to modify or to use part of this script in order to create your own, as long as the author's nickname appears next to the name of the new script's author in the game credits (also, notice of what modifications you do is appreciated, so that I can link to the modified contents from my site).
  • You are restricted from using this script, partially or in its entirity, for any kind of commercial profit. My skills are available for hire if you really wish, but what I made for free must remain free.
Any materials (graphics, sounds, demo...) provided with this script are subject to the exact same terms.

This script was tested and is guaranteed to work fine with the standard RPG Maker XP scripts, with the Scene_Base and Commons scripts added. Also, my scripts work fine with each others as long as you comply to the instructions provided with each of them. Though external compatibility is one of my primary concerns whenever scripting, it's not that important to all scripters, so there is no guarantee that this script will work properly when combined with custom scripts by other authors. Known or probable compatibility issues are described in the script's instructions.

I write scripts as a hobby and intend to keep it that way. Requests acceptance is subject to my own whims. Support is kindly provided as much as my real-life busniess allows it. As long as I am respected as an author and a person, there is no reason why this should change - however, blatant abuse might lead to the removal of this site's content from the web, or in the worst case, my own withdrawal from amateur game-making (which I definitely don't want to happen, but have considered at least once already).

Demanding for all people who download and use my works to provide at least a comment would be unrealistic, but ideally I would have things that way. Ways to thank me and support my creations are provided in my FAQ.

I wish you have a nice time using my works and we can all be good friends.

  1. I'm completely new to scripting and a lot of these scripts seem pretty good! :). I'm glad you finally made one and I'm even more so glad your still active and do stuff for RMXP! Gah a year ago if I would have known such a small community now uses it I would have never thought about using such an engine...However I do have a question...I have this HP/SP/ATB meter script that all I need it to do is literally just update after being attacked. :( I've searched and searched and found only 1 out of 4 that actually works without errors that I have no idea how to fix...and the one script I do happens to not do that but lag afterwards...is there any way you could show me of how to fix this script? Or maybe come up with one of your own? :).

    1. Hi Charles,

Thanks for your appreciation. Your request, however, is way too vague. Why do you need to update the bars after being struck? Are you working on your own CBS or trying other people's ones? What type of errors do you run into and where do they come from? Please be more specific, I really don't know what you're talking about right now.

  2. Can I use the animated menu for commercial release if proper credit is done?

    1. As stated in the terms of use, no commercial profit allowed from my works. I am open to negociations as it is natural, I believe, to expect a financial counterpart when someone makes money out of your own work.
